Monday, August 24, 2015

Week of 8/24/15

It is important to us to know where your students are academically and to measure their learning throughout the year.  Unfortunately, that means that this week is full of testing.  Students may feel overwhelmed. Encourage them to do their best and not worry.  Some concepts they may not know now, but we will learn them.

First Day

We had a wonderful first day of school!  We did a lot of organizing and figuring out what 6th grade looks like.  Check with your child and make sure they had everything they needed for their binder.

Don't forget, there are no more early release Wednesdays this year.  Instead, students will have no school every other Friday.  Here's a link to the calendar so you can have a copy for your schedule.
